Yea maybe don't categorically insult large groups of people like, at all? like your reasoning that "oh, I actually meant to insult this entire OTHER demographic that likes this thing so it's okay" kind of leaves something to be desired.
Im assuming this about OSR bros and not intentionally insulting the entire Brazilian OSR scene but it's not landing like that.
Brazilian OSR scene is amazingly creative and have been using the brosr label to build community in their country. This can easily come off as an attack on them.
Exactly this. BrOSR is specifically how the Brazilian scene identifies itself, and it includes some of most interesting and inclusive creators I've ever worked with or met.

You did not overreact, we live in a time where attacks on good people are common and this stupid pdf could just as well have been an attack on Brazilian creators. It would not have been surprising.
